چہرے سے مترشح تھی‘ لیکن آنکھوں میں ایک عجیب سے اداسی اور بے یقینی کی کیفیت نظر
آتی تھی۔ یہ کچھ عرصہ پہلے کی بات ہے‘احمد مجھ سے سوشل سائنسز کے ایک مضمون میں
اعلیٰ تعلیم کے سلسلے میں سکالر شپ کے حصول کے لئے ملنے آیا تھا۔ میں نے اس کے
کیریئر کا جائزہ لیا۔ اس نے میٹرک سائنس میں 90 فیصد نمبروں سے پاس کیا تھا۔اس کے
بعد اس نے پری میڈیکل کا امتحان بھی 80فیصد سے زائد نمبروں سے پاس کیا تھا اس کی
خواہش تھی کہ کسی میڈیکل کالج میں داخلہ مل جائے لیکن انٹری ٹیسٹ میں کم نمبروں کی
وجہ سے اس کی یہ خواہش پوری نہ ہو سکی اور اس نے اگلے سال دوبارہ امتحان دیا۔
مایوس ہو کر اس نے میڈیکل سے منہ موڑا اور بی کام کر لیا تھا‘ جس میں اس نے 60فیصد
نمبر حاصل کئے تھے۔ اور اب وہ سوشل سائنسز کے کسی سبجیکٹ میں ایم اے اور پھر ایم
فل کرکے سکول ٹیچر لگنے کا خواہاں تھا۔ ایم بی بی ایس کرکے ڈاکٹر بننے کے اس کے
خواب عرصہ ہوا بکھر چکے تھے اور اب وہ زندگی آگے بڑھانے کے لئے سکول ٹیچر تک لگنے
کو تیار تھا۔</span><span dir="LTR" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>

اور بر وقت کیریئر کونسلنگ نہ ہونے کے باعث اور انٹری ٹیسٹ کے عذاب سے ہمارے ملک
کا ہر دوسرا نوجوان اسی طرح کے حالات کا شکار ہے۔ اس کا نتیجہ یہ نکلتا ہے کہ جو
بچہ اچھا فارماسسٹ بن سکتا ہے‘ وہ انجینئر بن جاتا ہے اور جسے ایک اچھا اینکر ہونا
چاہئے‘ وہ اپنے ہاتھوں میں ایم بی بی ایس کی ڈگری تھامے پھرتا ہے۔ ذرا میڈیا پر
ایک نظر ڈال لیں۔</span><span dir="LTR" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;"><br />
</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;">درست اور موزوں کیریئر کا انتخاب ہر طالب علم کا حق ہے۔
کہ وہ اپنے طبعی رجحانات اور آدرشوں کے مطابق اپنے پیشے کا انتخاب کرے۔ یہ بلا شبہ
طالب علم کی زندگی کا ایک اہم ترین فیصلہ ہوتا ہے۔ لیکن افسوس کہ انہیں اس سلسلے
میں کوئی رہنمائی نہیں ملتی اور وہ اپنی سوچ کے مطابق ٹامک ٹوئیاں مارتے رہتے ہیں۔
ایک زمانہ تھا جب مضامین اور پیشوں کی تعداد محدود تھی۔ اب شعبوں کی تعداد میں
خاصا اضافہ ہو چکا ہے اور اس لحاظ سے والدین اور طلبہ کی مشکلات بھی بڑھ گئی
ہیں۔اگرچہ کچھ عرصہ پہلے انٹرمیڈیٹ کی سطح پر بچوں کو کیریئر کونسلنگ کی سہولت فراہم
کرنے کا اعلان کیا گیا تھا لیکن ابھی تک سرکاری تعلیمی اداروں ‘ حتیٰ کہ متعدد نجی
تعلیمی اداروں میں بھی اس سلسلے میں کوئی ٹھوس کام نہیں کیا گیا ہے۔ ہمارے ہاں
کیریئر پلاننگ کے لئے مارکیٹ کی ضرورت، تعلیمی قابلیت، والدین کا دباؤ، دوستوں کی
رائے، مضامین کے سکوپ اور سب سے آخر میں ذاتی رجحان کو مد نظر رکھا جاتا ہے
حالانکہ ذاتی رجحان کو سب سے اہمیت اور اولیت دی جانی چاہئے‘ تبھی ملک کو ایک
بہترین پروفیشنل دینے کے سلسلے میں پہلی اینٹ رکھی جا سکتی ہے۔</span><span dir="LTR" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;"><br />
</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;">ہمارے ہاں عام طور پر طلبہ کالج یا یونیورسٹی تعلیم (بی
اے ،ایم اے) کے بعد کیریئر پلاننگ کی سوچتے ہیں، حالانکہ کیریئر پلاننگ کا عمل
سکول کے دورسے ہی شروع ہو جانا چاہئے جب بچہ میٹرک پاس کرے تو اسے اپنے طبعی رجحان
کے مطابق مضامین اختیار کرنے میں دشواری نہ ہو اور جب وہ انٹرمیڈیٹ کا امتحان پاس
کرے تو اس کو معلوم ہو کہ اس نے کون سا شعبہ اختیار کرنا ہے اور کس طرح اپنا
کیریئر بنایا ہے۔ سکول اور کالج کی سطح پر طلبہ کی دلچسپیوں، سرگرمیوں‘ صلاحیتوں
اوررجحانات و میلانات کا جائزہ لیے بغیروالدین کی طرف سے از خود اور بلا سوچے
سمجھے کیریئر کا انتخاب طلبہ کے مستقبل کو داؤ پر لگانے کے مترادف ہوتا ہے۔</span><span dir="LTR" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;"><br />
</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;">میرے خیال میں کیریئر کونسلنگ کے سلسلے میں سب سے پہلا
کردار اور ذمہ داری والدین کی ہوتی ہے۔ بچے کی بدقسمتی کا آغاز سکول کے زمانے سے
ہی اس وقت ہو جاتا ہے‘ جب والدین اپنی سماجی حیثیت اور معاشی سٹیٹس کو مدنظر رکھے
‘ اور یہ سوچے سمجھے بغیر کہ انہوں نے اپنے بچوں کو کیا بنانا ہے‘ کسی اچھے انگلش
میڈیم سکول میں داخل کرا دیتے ہیں۔ آٹھویں تک بچہ اسی گومگو میں رہتا ہے کہ اسے
کیا پڑھنا ہے اور کیا نہیں۔ اس کے بعد والدین بچے کو اے لیول یا اولیول کرنے کی
ہدایت کرتے ہیں‘ جو کہ ایک بالکل ہی الگ قسم کے سلیبس اور رجحان والا کورس ہے۔
والدین کی حتی الوسع کوشش ہوتی ہے کہ ان کا بیٹا ڈاکٹر بنے یا پھر انجینئر‘ چنانچہ
اسے پھر کسی اچھے کالج میں داخلہ دلایا جاتا ہے اور اس کے لئے بہترین اکیڈمی یا
پرائیویٹ ٹیوشن کا اہتمام کیا جاتا ہے۔ اس طرح بچہ نمبر تو اچھے لے لیتا ہے ‘ لیکن
اکثر ایسا ہوتا ہے کہ والدین اپنے بچے کے کیریئر کے لئے جس شعبے کا اہتمام یا
خواہش کا اظہار کرتے ہیں‘ بچہ اس میں طبعی رجحان نہیں رکھتا اور ساری عمر ایک طرح
کی کشمکش کا شکار رہتا ہے۔ بہتر یہی ہے کہ والدین بچے کے طبعی رجحانات اور میلانات
کا جائزہ لیں اور مناسب وقت پر بہترین مشورہ بھی ضرور دیں لیکن اپنے کیریئر کا
فیصلہ بچے کو خود کرنے دیں۔اگر والدین نے اپنے بچے کو وہ مضامین رکھوائے جن میں اس
کی کوئی دلچسپی نہیں تھی‘ تو اس کی ناکامی کے امکانات بڑھ جاتے ہیں۔</span><span dir="LTR" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;"><br />
</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;">اللہ تعالیٰ نے انسان کو مختلف صلاحیتوں سے نوازا ہے۔
ان صلاحیتوں کو اسی وقت ٹھیک طریقے سے بروئے کار لایا جا سکتا ہے‘ جب انہیں کے
مطابق کسی پروفیشن کا انتخاب کیا جائے۔ حال ہی میں ہونے والی مردم شماری کے غیر
حتمی نتائج کے مطابق پاکستان کی آبادی 21کروڑ کے لگ بھگ ہے اور اس کا 60فیصد
نوجوانوں پر مشتمل ہے۔ کیا یہ بات لمحہ فکریہ نہیں ہونی چاہئے کہ آبادی کا اتنا
بڑا حصہ ہونے کے باوجود نوجوان نسل مایوس نظر آتی ہے۔ان کے لئے کیریئر کونسلنگ نہ
ہونے کے برابر ہے۔ ان کے لئے سرکاری سطح پر کیریئر کونسلنگ کا اہتما م ہونا چاہئے۔
اس مقصد کے لئے کسی اضافی انفراسٹرکچر یا نفری کی بھی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ ہر سکول میں
اساتذہ کی خاصی بڑی تعداد ہوتی ہے۔ انہی میں سے کچھ پر مبنی ایک کمیٹی بنا دی جائے
جو کلاسوں میں پڑھاتے وقت طلبہ کے ذہنی میلانات کا تجزیہ کرکے اس کا ایک ڈیٹا تیار
کر لیں اور پھر اس کی بنیاد پر والدین کو بلا کر انہیں صورتحال سے آگاہ کر دیا
جائے تو میرے خیال میں ایسی بہترین کونسلنگ کا آغاز ہو سکتا ہے‘ جو آگے چل کر
والدین اور بچے‘ دونوں کے لئے مفید ثابت ہو۔ علاوہ ازیں‘ میں نے انہیں سطور میں
پہلے بھی عرض کیا تھا کہ انجینئرنگ اور ایم بی بی ایس تو ٹھیک ہے‘ اچھے شعبے ہیں‘
لیکن سرکاری سطح پر دوسرے شعبوں کو پُرکشش بنانے کے لئے بھی اقدامات ہونے چاہئیں۔
ہمیں اچھے ڈاکٹر اور انجینئر تو چاہئیں ہی‘ لیکن اچھے فارماسسٹس‘ اچھے ٹیچرز‘ اچھے
وکلا‘ لائق پائلٹوں اور دوسرے تمام شعبوں میں کام کرنے والے مستعد افراد کی بھی تو
ضرورت ہے۔ یہ ضرورت تبھی پوری ہو سکتی ہے اگر ہم اپنے بچوں کے لئے بروقت اور بہتر
کیریئر کونسلنگ کا اہتمام کریں۔</span><span dir="LTR" style="font-family: "jameel noori nastaleeq"; font-size: 26.0pt; line-height: 200%;"><br />

ملک کا گرم ترین موضوع بننے والا ہے۔ پنجاب میں بچوں کے اغواءکی وارداتوں اور گزشتہ
سالوں کے دوران ڈینگی کی طرح اب ہر قسم کی ہلچل کانگو وائرس کے حوالے سے ہوگی ۔ میڈیا
پر بھی بھرپور مہم چلائی جا رہی ہے کہ یہ وائرس جانوروں سے پھیلتا ہے اس لئے قربانی
کے جانوروں کے حوالے سے بھرپور قسم کی احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کرنے کا درس دیا جا رہا
ہے۔کسی کوکانگو بیماری کے وجود سے انکار نہیں لیکن عید الاضحی کے قریب اس کی تشہیر
اور افواہوں نے چند شکوک و شبہات کو بھی جنم دیا ہے۔ ایسا لگتا ہے کہ پولیو کی طرح

کروڑوںلوگ متاثر ہوتے ہیں ۔ زچگی کے دوران لاکھوں خواتین ہر سال جان کی بازی ہار جاتی
ہیں ،صاف پانی دس فیصد لوگوں کو بھی میسر نہیں جس کی وجہ سے بیماریاں پھیلتی ہیں ۔

ہی مہنگے تہواروں کے موقعے پر نہیں آتا۔خدشہ ہے کہ ہمارے ملک میں کانگو سے ہلاکتوں
کا چرچا بہت جلد عام ہونیوالا ہے۔ حالیہ دنوں میں بچوں کے اغواءکی افواہیں اتنی بڑی
تعداد میں عام ہوئیں کہ ایسا لگتا تھا کہ ہر گھرانے کا کم سے کم ایک بچہ ضرور اغوا
ءہوا ہے لیکن جب حقائق سامنے آئے تو جو چند واقعات ہوئے تھے ان میں بھی خاندانی دشمنی
وغیرہ کا ہاتھ تھا۔ لیکن میڈیا نے اس حوالے سے فرنٹ پیج کوریج دی اور ہر واقعے کو بڑھا
چڑھا کر پیش کیا، سینکڑوں افراد کو محض شک کی بنیاد پر اغواءکار قراردیکر تشدد کا نشانہ
بنایا گیا۔ ڈینگی کے حوالے سے بھی ایسا ہی ہوا تھا کہ کوئی اگر طبی موت بھی مرا یا
کسی بھی بیماری سے اللہ کو پیاراہوگیا تو بھی میڈیا نے بریکنگ نیوز یہی چلائی ” ڈینگی
سے ایک اور موت“۔۔اسی طرح کی میڈیا مہم کانگو وائرس کے حوالے سے بھی چلنے والی ہے۔
بریکنگ نیوز کچھ اس طرح کی ہوں گی کہ فلاح شہر میں کانگو وائرس کا ایک اور کیس سامنے
آ گیا ۔ مریض کے گھرانے میں تین روز قبل ہی قربانی کا جانور لایاگیا تھا۔حیران کن بات
یہ بھی ہے کہ کانگو کے ا ب تک جو کیس سامنے آئے ہیں وہ بڑے شہروں سے ہیں ۔کتنا عجیب
ہے کہ وہ گڈریے اور مویشی پالنے والے جو کہ چوبیس گھنٹے ان میں رہتے ہیں ان کو کانگو
وائرس متاثر نہیں کرتا بلکہ شہر کے ماحول میں جیسے ہی وہ جانور کسی گھرانے میں پہنچتا
ہے تو اس کی خواتین اور خصوصا بچوں کوکانگو وائرس متاثر کر دیتا ہے۔کسی پر الزام ٹھیک
نہیں لیکن کچھ ایسے اداروں اور کمپنیوں کے بارے بھی چھان بین ہونی چاہیے جو بڑی تشہیری
مہم چلاتی ہیں کہ بس پیسے ہمیں دیں اور قربانی کا گوشت لے جائیں بغیر کسی مشقت کے۔
کسی بیماری کے وجود سے انکار نہیں کیا جاسکتالیکن کروڑوں کی آبادی میں صرف چند کیس
سامنے آنے پر افواہوں کے ذریعے اگر ڈر و خوف کی فضاءقائم کر دی جائے تو اسے بھی عقلمندی
قرار نہیں دیا جاسکتا۔اللہ تعالی ہر کسی کو ہر قسم کی بیماری سے محفوظ رکھے لیکن ایک

خیال اس وقت غلط ثابت ہوا جب میں نے اسے دور سے اپنی طرف بھاگتے ہوئے دیکھا. اس کی
حالت پہلے سے اور بری ہوگئی تھی سانس پھولا ہوا، بھوک پیاس اور گرمی کی شدت نے اسکو
بے حال کر دیا تھا...... واپس آتے ہی اس نے کہا معافی چاہتا ہوں کہیں سے کھلے پیسے
